AnyBridge modules

To kick-start new solutions, AnyBridge has invested in the development of product modules, that can be used to build an M2M application using our AnyBridge Platform technology. Below, an overview of these modules is shown.

AnyBridge Controller module

The AnyBridge Controller is our most powerful controller module, targeted at industrial applications. It offers the following interfaces and functions:

  • 100BaseTx Ethernet
  • USB 2.0
  • Dual- or quad-band GRPS
  • GPS/GNSS positioning
  • CANopen and ModBus/RS485
  • 868 MHz ISM-band RF interface
  • Serial FLASH log memory and external SRAM

The AnyBridge Controller embedded architecture is based on an NXP LPC1778 ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller and is powered with 24VDC.

 

Compact Controller module

The Compact Controller is our low-power controller module, targeted at remote measurement applications. It offers the following interfaces and functions:

  • Dual- or quad-band GRPS
  • USB 2.0
  • Dual 4-20 mA and 0-5VDC analog sensor interfaces
  • Single Pt-100 temperature sensor interface
  • High-precision 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (optional)
  • ModBus/RS485 (optional)
  • Serial FLASH log memory
  • Expansion connector for Sensor Expansion modules

The Compact Controller module is based on an EnergyMicro (now SiliconLabs) EFM32GG380F1024 ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller and is powered with 24VDC, or 7.2VDC for battery-operated applications.

 

PDEV peripheral device module

The PDEV module is our ultra low-power wireless module, designed for wireless sensor applications. It offers the following interfaces and functions:

  • 868 MHz ISM-band RF-interface
  • USB 2.0
  • RF-ID with programmable memory
  • Serial FLASH log memory
  • Application interfaces (ADCs, SPI, I2C)

The PDEV module is based on a Texas Instruments MSP430F5529 microcontroller.
